Teams for the Inter-counties at Birmingham 13th March. 6th Mar 2010
(click image to enlarge)	The Sussex senior women’s team for the Inter-counties at Birmingham in one week’s time has been hit by injuries to two of their top athletes. Arena 80’s Caroline Hoyte, who missed the county championships at the turn of the year, is still on the crocked bench while Sophie Coleman (Phoenix) has had to withdraw through injury. The team however will be led by the very much in form Fiona Clark (Arena 80) who recently smashed her “Half-marathon” best in Barcelona. Clocking 76:05 she chopped some three minutes off her previous best and moved up to second fastest, behind Hoyte, on the Sussex “All-time” lists. She is currently the fifth fastest by any British woman this year. Ollie Freeman (Bodyworks) has, like Hoyte, not recovered from the injury that ruled him out of the County championships.
